PLABA Sends Team To Senior Baseball State Tourney
The Prior Lake Amatuer Baseball Association sponsored a team in the Minnesota Senior Mens Amatuer Baseball Association for the 2005 Season. The team, made of of area residents primarily from the Prior Lake, Savage and Burnsville areas played a partial regular season to qualify for the annual 2 weekend State
Mudcats Miss "Express" Train to State
Perhaps the largest Class C crowd in 2005 watched the Mudcats post a 1 in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd and lose a 4-2 9th inning lead to DRS Champion Elko Express by the final score of 6-4 in 11 innings in the losers bracket of the double elimination
PL Wins "Cat Fight" Over Randolph
The Prior Lake Mudcats in losers bracket action of Region 3C were victorious in a 2-1 game over the Randolph Railcats of the Classic Cannon Valley League. The Railcats were derailed by Montgomery 2-1 in 14 innings while the Mudcats were clipped by Hampton 7-2 to square in the losers
