St. Mathias Harvest came to Prior Lake for a visit and received a rude welcome when the hometown crew belted out eight runs, yielding only one to the visiting Harvest. Tom Arnold took the mound and went all six innings for the win.
Game two had a different result. The Bald Eagles struggled to get runners on base and keep them there. The game was tied for the first three innings before St. Mathias was able to plate one run and take the lead. The visitors scored two more in their half of the last inning, and the home team had no answer for their pitcher.
The next game is on Sunday, July 14th, at the Savage Grizzlies, then they’ll return home on July 27th against the St. Louis Park Bees.
