The 2020 home regular season for “townball” concludes Friday July 31st as the Prior Lake Mudcats host St Louis Park Townteam for a special 700PM 1st pitch at Memorial Parks Veterans Field. The PL Jays hosted Park Thursday 7/30 dropping by a 9-5 score.
To help close the regular season, the Mudcats and PLABA are hosting Caseys Cornfeast. Due to limited supply, the corn feast was changed to a “Friday only” event (was to also have been Thursday at Jays) to celebrate to 2020 season.
Casey Acres in Credit River Township is well known for its sweet corn and available for purchase at 17826 Murphy Lake Blvd Prior Lake. Calvin Casey hosted several corn dates at Jays and Mudcats games but crop growth conditions have not cooperated in recent seasons. There may also be ears available for direct purchase at the game. Fans of PL baseball encouraged to arrive early, grab an ice cold drink and enjoy Summer with Caseys Corn!
