The Mudcats opened 2007 with non-league exhibition at Cleveland on Saturday, April 28 and clipped the Condors 15-4 in 6 innings. Bryan Bohnsack tossed 4 innings as starter, and BJ Benz picked up the win in relief with scoreless appearances by Jacob Schmidt and Andy Koehler. The ‘Cats got sound 'D' and contributions across the lineup with Ty Geister as well as Ben Schmidt collecting hits with RBI after taking off 2006. Welcome back fish!
Sunday, April 29 marks “Fish Fight I” where the Mudcats will face the New Market Muskies in their home opener of 2007 D-R-S action. Gametime is slated for 2 PM at Veterans Field in Prior Lake.
