Veteran Billy Gabler threw a complete game shutdown against the Shakopee Indians when they traveled to Schleper Stadium on June 28.
Gabler allowed eight hits, striking out four, walking and hitting one batter.
The Jays mustered three runs on eight hits. The first inning was electric as the Jays gathered two runs on four hits including singles by Casey Brinkman, Scott Geisler, Chris Rooney, and Paul Busselman, and an RBI sacrifice fly by Bill Gabler.
Singles by Rooney and Busselman in the eighth gathered the third run. Geisler, Rooney, and Busselman were 2-for-4 each at the plate, and Busselman wrangled two RBI's.
