Jays Weekend Update

After scoring 1 run in 3rd & 5th, PL exploded for 4 runs in the 7th on 2
Rbi double by Geisler that scored White & Olynyk and a groundout by
Tschimperle that plated Geisler.  Geisler also knocked in Dusty Olynyk
with a 2 run HR in the top of the 9th.  Olynyk was 1-3 with a walk and 2
runs scored and Scott Geisler had a day going 2-4 2 runs scored and 5
RBI to lead the Jays.

The Jays jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first on a leadoff single by
Richard White who was batted in on an RBI triple by Dusty Olynyk who was
knocked in by a fielders choice by Travis Johnson. The Cubs batted 12 in
the first to answer with 4 hits, a Jays error, hit batter and hit
batsman from starter Marshall Mullenbach who did not record an out
yielding 7 runs.  Travis Johnson relieved on the hill and was solid into
the 6th inning giving up 1 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th.  Brian Anderson
tossed the last 2 2/3 facing 9 batters with only 1 reaching base on a
Jays error.  Adam Cress led off the 2nd with a double but was stranded
and also had a sac fly that scored Scott Geisler in the 4th.  Richard
White was hot at the plate going 3-3 with 2 walks and a run scored and
Dusty Olynyk batting 1-4 with a walk, run score and RBI in from of a
large Fathers Day crowd in Chaska.

Chris Swiatkiewicz got the nod on the hill having beaten Shakopee in a
4-2 complete game win earlier this season but was not able to keep the
Indians down scattering 10 hits in a complete game loss for the Jays.
Swiatkiewicz, and Richard White had hits for the Jays with Adam Cress
and Scott Geisler knocking doubles off of former UM Gopher Tim Theis who
went the distance for the win.  Kyle Oldenkamp went 3-4 for the Jays who
stranded 7 baserunners.
