Legion Wraps 2006 Season

The Prior Lake Lakers American Legion baseball wrapped up their 2006 season by being ousted by the 15th seed St. Paul Park American Legion Team.  The subdistrict playoffs consisted of a best of three series where the Lakers (seeded 18 of 32) played the 15 seed St. Paul Park.  Game 1 took place on Friday, July 20 at St. Paul Park.  The Lakers lost by a score of 10-3.  Game 2 was hosted by Prior Lake at Veterans Field.  The Lakers lost that game by a score of 6-2.  The Lakers finished 7-7 in District 3 League 'B' play.  They were 9-9 overall.

Skipper Justin Braun, and coach Kyle Haugen both announced this year that this would be their last season with the Legion program.  Braun, in his second season with the Legion program finished with a record of 18-16.
