A nine-run fourth inning brought the Mudcats to life and helped seal a 9-3 win against the Shakopee Coyotes last night.

The hit parade included a three-run double from Ben Morrison (1 for 3, 3 RBI) to get things going.  Other run scoring contributors included Jonny Houston (1 for 5, 1 RBI), Corbin Cross (2 for 4, 1 RBI), Luke Weber (1 for 4, 2 RBI), Cole Bjorge (2 for 3, 1 RBI), and BJ Benz (2 for 4, 1 RBI).

The Cats are back at the yard tonight taking on the Montgomery Mallards in DRS League action.  The Mallards are 4-3 on the season, trailing the Mudcats by half a game in the standings, and five games out of first place.

First pitch is 7:30 pm and it looks to be another beautiful night to watch townball.  We’ll see you at the park!
