MUDCATS UPDATES:
The PL Mudcats hung with the powerful Rosemount Black Sock of the Cannon Valley League before yielding 7 in the final 2 innings dropping a 12-2 non league exhibition decision Thursday on the back end of 3 straight weekday games splitting in DRS Action with Lonsdale (L5-4 10) and Veseli (WIN 4-3) Tuesday and Wednesday this past week.
The ‘Cats try to tune for the final stretch in July this weekend 6/23-24 by travelling to the Howard Lake Orphans “Good Neighbor Days Tournament” which is held annually in conjunction with the town festival. The Mudcats will need to win their 3 team pool to advance to Sunday action.

JAYS LATEST NEWS:
The PL Jays just crossed the mid point of the Section 3B seeding schedule downing Shakopee Indians 8-4 running their RVL record to 6-1 with a 4-1 record in the 9 game Section seed games ahead of Victoria (3-1) who they split with earlier this year and a surprising bottom of winless Shakopee 0-3 and Chaska 0-2. Congrats to Jays Rookie Mike Hadden for bagging his first Townball rip up the middle in a pinch hit in the 6th inning.
The Jays had a 7PM Non Leaguer at Class B Eagan Bandits at Goat Hill Park (MAP) Sunday 6/24 winning 4-3 with Pat Galvin piching the win on the hill and Travis Johnson getting the save in relief. The Jays return to RVL action hosting Henderson Tuesday 6/26 730PM at The Vet in Prior Lake.
