The Prior Lake Amateur Baseball Association (PLABA) met on November 26, 2018 for their annual meeting. In addition to discussions around the usual association business over the course of 2018, this annual session is also used for board elections. This year included electing a new director to the board to fill a slot left vacant with the departure of Lakers Baseball coach, Greg Nesbitt.
Taylor Smith, an active participant in the Prior Lake baseball scene was unanimously elected and will join returning PLABA board members in 2019. Taylor is currently a coach with the Prior Lake Jays Baseball Club, and will serve as director of media along with other duties for the board.
