Jays Tuning for playoff run…
The PL Jays were rained out 7/15 and rescheduled at 2 time defending MBA Class B Champion Shakopee for Monday 7/25 at beautiful Joe Schleper Stadium of Tahpah Park against the Indians in River Valley Class B action. The Jays at this point have set a modern era record for weather cancellations which has wreaked havoc with teams across the state. The Jays are STILL waiting for workable date options from the Savage Outlaws in Section 4B from 6/23 cancellation by Savage due to Burnsville Legion game bumping them.
The Jays were dropped by Savage for the 2nd time this season but not for lack of effort 7/13. Scott Geislers 2 run double put the Jays up 2-1 but the Outlaws had a couple on when an error on a deep fly to left with 2 outs plated 2 Savage runs. No decision for Outlaw starter and former Jay Luke Anderson who is not welcome in Canada. Jays starter Corey Goblirsch was effective going the distance yielding 5 hits and demonstrating windup styles from the early 20th century but taking the loss.
The Jays have lost 4 of 6 games of late but looking to surge in the final 10 games going into playoffs. UPCOMING JAYS PROMOTIONAL DATES:
