The Prior Lake Laker Legion powers past Chaska Chanhassen in 2 of 3 Series action winning 13-11 Friday in PL & 12-2 Saturday and takes on Eagan at Eagans Goat Hill Park Wednesday at 430. The 16 Team Tournament concludes 8/5 with 3 Teams advancing the the American Legion State Tournament in Bloomington. 8/1 Laker Legion loses in game 1 of the District Tourney 13-2 with Matt Branson getting tagged with the loss on the hill. The Lakers will take on Plato who were whipped 20-0 by # 1 seed Burnsville. The elimination game will take place at Alimagnet #1 Thursday 8/2 5:00PM with the Winner advancing to Friday 8/3 5:00PM against the Loser of New Prague and Fairbault.
8/2 Lakers fight back with big win over Plato 16-5 (7). They will take on Fairbault 8/3 5PM @ Burnsvilles Alimagnet Field 1. Should they win they will take on the winner of Lakeville North & Forest Lake Sat 8/4 11AM at Legion Field in Apple Valley. the brackets are updated at Link and the PL hardball Hotline will try to post updates on Laker Legion District Tournament Action.
