The 2021 M50BL over 50 Amateur Baseball League will conclude Saturday September 25 & Sunday September 26 with 4 games hosted by Savage Pacer Field & Prior Lake Veterans Field/Memorial Park to determine top teams in the 6A & 9A Divisions in the 34 Team M50BL 2021 Championships.
The Savage Grizzles will serve as hosts at Pacer Park playing Sat 9/25 against Edina at 1130AM in Game 1 then hosting Game 2 vs St Michael or Rosetown to determine the Championship of the 2021 6A Class Division and the opponent will travel in from PL hosted Game 1 St Michael VS Rosetown.
The Bald Eagles will serve as a host site with Savage and square on Sunday 9/26 with Alexandria with whom they drew a split in a regular season doubleheader played 9/11 by scores of 7-2 in their win and losing 9-4. The Eagles tallied a 17-6 2021 season record while Alexandria checked in with a 13-7 record. The 2021 undefeated top seed St Louis Park at 20-0 will square with Crosstown Traffic who posted a 15-8 2021 record at Savage in the 1130 game with winners and losers to meet following Game 1 action to crown divisional/class Champions for 2021 with PL remaining at Veterans Field regardless of if they are playing for Championship or 3rd/4th. The PL Bald Eagles captured the top class title in 2017 and been runner up in 2016, ’18 and ’19. There were no playoffs in the 2020 Covid pandemic season. The 4 games this weekend will conclude the PLABA 2021 schedule with one last chance for area fans to support the local 9 in M50BL 2021 Championships.
