Prior Lake Veterans Field-Memorial Park serves as one of the 16 “pool play” host sites of the 2021 Gopher Classic American Legion Baseball Tournament. Excelsior American Legion coordinates the largest American Legion Baseball Tournament in the country with 96 teams playing down to a Champion. The Prior Lake site with Prior Lake Post 447 LakerLegion is joined by the following: Middletown, Wisconsin, Minneapolis (MN) Southwest, Rochester (MN) Redhawks, Millard West (Nebraska) and Brandon (South Dakota). One of the 6 teams from the Prior Lake site will advance into the Championship bracket on Monday July 12.
