The Mudcats started their 2021 season with the first three games on the road, and in the process, outscoring their opponents by a whopping 31-5. Their latest win came Friday night, defeating the Montgomery Mallards 8-3, racking up 14 hits and on the arms of Ben Morrison (7 IP, 1 run, 4 hits, 8 SO) and Jackson Kesler (2 IP, 2 runs, 3 SO). Jerad Lehrer (3 for 5), Greg Faue (2 for 3), BJ Benz (1 for 3, 2RBI), Patrick Barrett (2 for 4), and Morrison (3 for 5, 2 RBI) were among the Mudcats who contributed to a strong offensive performance.
