Mudcat pitcher Ben Morrison went the distance throwing a complete game, but a few defensive miscues early on likely played a role in the demise of last night’s 6-5 loss to the Elko Express. Going into the bottom of the ninth tied 5-5, the Express sealed the deal with a walk-off victory.

The Mudcats return home to The Vet this Sunday, May 26th for a 2:00 pm tilt against the Union Hill Bulldogs. These two teams faced off back on May 10th where the Mudcats were victorious over the Bulldogs by a score of 9-0. Both teams are currently .500 on the season.
