The Lakers were slotted for the 2021 Section 2AAAA MSHSL Baseball Playoffs based on QRF that slots the Section teams (SSC splits to align with teams from other conferences for postseason) and resulted in a #7 (of 8) Section seeding with a bracket loaded with tested teams and talented players. The Lakers Section 2AAAA record of 1-1 is a split with Scott County rival Shakopee by scores of 4-3 and a 1-0 Laker win.

Skipper Al Iversen, Assistant Coaches: Scott Geisler, Taylor Smith and Zach Horn and the Laker 9 hit the road to Chanhassen High School RedBirdStorm Stadium to take on the #2 seeded Chanhassen Storm. The 8 team double elimination bracket continues Wednesday June 2 for 600PM action as the Section plays down to a representative for the 2021 State Class AAAA Tournament.
