Your hometown, Prior Lake Jays and Prior Lake Mudcats will return to Arlington this weekend and join the field of eight teams vying for the 2024 Grain Belt Premium Light Invite Tournament champion trophy. Both the Jays and Mudcats are return contenders; the Jays won the tournament three of the last four years and last year finished as the consolation champion, and the Mudcats were the overall champion for the 2023 tournament.
The tournament kicks off on Friday, June 7th, with the Arlington A’s taking on the Leavenworth Orioles in the opening game at 6:45 p.m. The Mudcats prepare to joust with the Kensington Norsemen in the 8:45 p.m. nightcap. The Jays start their tour on Saturday morning with a 10:00 matchup against the Shoreview StumpGrinders. Games are played throughout the day on Saturday, with consolation and champion games wrapping up on Sunday.
