Jays stymied by Chaska Cubs

Prior Lake Jays couldn’t keep up with Chaska Cubs and fell 7-1 on Tuesday.

Chaska Cubs were the first to get on the board in the first when Maddox Foss singled, scoring one run.

Nolan Kemp earned the win for Chaska Cubs. The reliever surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out seven and walking one. Takuma Padilla pitched three innings in relief for Prior Lake Jays. The reliever allowed five hits and three runs while, striking out two and walking none. Henry Brandt took the loss for Prior Lake Jays. They went two innings, surrendering one run on one hit, striking out none and walking none. Alex Twenge started the game for Chaska Cubs. They allowed three hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none.

Jeff Butler, Nate Bodine, Tomas Lee, and Hayden Anthony each collected one hit for Prior Lake Jays. Prior Lake Jays didn’t commit a single error in the field. Butler had the most chances in the field with six.

Chaska Cubs piled up 12 hits in the game. Foss led Chaska Cubs with three hits in three at bats. Nathan Rosenberg collected two hits for Chaska Cubs in four at bats. Foss and Pat Fontaine each stole multiple bases for Chaska Cubs. Chaska Cubs ran wild on the base paths, piling up seven stolen bases for the game.
