Jays Pitcher Commo Annouces Retirement

By PLB Admin

Jays pitcher, Scott Commo announced last week that he will not be returning to the Jays for the 2004 season.

Commo, a left-handed pitcher, joined the Jays bullpen in 2001.  The decision to not return this year came down after a long struggle.  “My job which involves extensive travel along with being a newlywed has restricted my play time.” stated Commo.

During the 2003 season, Commo pitched 23 1/3 innings with an ERA of 3.86.

The Prior Lake Jays wish the best of luck and continued success to Scott.
