The Cats dropped the fist game of Regions 10-0 in 8 innings. It was an error filled game that got out of control in the 7th and 8th innings. It was 3-0 going to the 7th. The ‘Cats managed only two singles by Justin Schliep off off Josh Simon. Ben Morrison pitched the first six innings and gave up three unearned runs.
The Mudcats will play the loser of New Prague at Montgomery on Friday night. The Sunday game will be at 2 pm with it being either Montgomery at Prior Lake or Prior Lake at New Prague. Stay tuned to either this site or the Prior Lake Hardball Hotline 952-226-3800 for updates.
The Mudcats swept the Lonsdale Aces out of the playoffs. 4-3 and 6-0.

The Mudcats scored first when the first two hitters reached and a fielders choice left it first and second. A groundball to third turned into a throwing error, scoring Casey Johnson who had singled earlier. Another error plated Ryan Rose. In the 7th, Ryan Rose and Ben Morrison singled. Jake Lehrer bunted them over to second and third. Nick Reed Walked. Ryan Defries hit a ground ball that an error was made scoring two runs. Justin Schliep hit a sacrifice fly to score the third run of the inning. Nick Reed singled in pinch runner Zach Lovera in the 8th after Rose and Morrison had singled with one out in the inning.
