The PL Jays got thumped by Jordan on Friday 6/27 in recent RVL/3B seeding action tagging but 5 hits behind Tony Eicher who was hung with the loss on the hill scattering 12 hits through 5 innings with Travis Johnson tossing 6-8 and yielding 3 runs in a flat Jays attack that resulted in a 10-0 8 inning Brewer win behind Scott Hollingsworth and Tyler Oakes.

The Jays travelled to Green Isles Irish Yard Sunday 6/29 with the Texan back in the saddle and overcame a 2-0 1st inning deficit to match it in the 2nd behind starter Jesse Sheidecker who went 4 1/3 leaving with a 4-3 deficit before the Jays Swarmed for 4 behind #2 pitcher Tim Garceaus (WP) moonball Grand Slam in the 5th. The Jays also scored one in the 7th and went to the 9th with an 8-7 lead after the Irish answered with 3 in the 7th. The Jays put a 5 on the board in the ninth before Rob Tschimperle took to the hill facing 6 yielding no hits or runs for the save. Garceau, Geisler, Wartman homered for the Jays with Geisler and Garceau tagging doubles and a hard shot to the cup of Green Isles Breyer by catcher Sam Hoppe the 9th inning swarm. Hallahan, Breyer and Pilacinski threw for the Irish who were held to 8 hits, 2 homeruns by Moriarity. Hallahan took the loss. The Jays also took the season series with 2 big wins vs. GI and 1 to go as the Section races to the end for critical seeding position.

The Jays have thus far exceeded their win total of 2007 and needing 2 more Section wins to eclipse the 4 posted (of 15) in 2006 & 2007. The Jays also remain perfect in non 3B games thus far taking down both RVL C teams and non leaguers from St Benedict(C), Burnsville(B) and St Louis Park(A). 2 Big games before the 4th of July include Tuesday at Chaska in RVL/3B action 7/1 730PM and non leaguer with Mpls Wesley Homies on Wed 7/2 730PM in PL for a brief last layoff as the regular season winds down.
